There's a place over the window through the hatchet across the plains. This is the place where only sound exists. This is the place where music is king.
There is a place under the table over the horizon. This is the place where something more than what you think is here exists. This is the place where only vision exists.
There is a place in the refrigerator where the only thing prolific is smell. It's not necessarily a place that is loved, but it is a place nonetheless.
People look to the sky on their knees.
People look to the ground on their feet.
There is a distance between man and everything.
At 11:11 every night I make a wish. It's not that I believe it will come true it's more that I like having a ritual.
Hip-hop has been given such a bad name because of mainstream rap which is pure shit. It's really a shame because there is so much poetic and meaningful underground hip-hop.
Underground rap is so not about the two b's, that being bitches and blunts.
Isn't it interesting how much a label means. If Emily Dickinson wrote a two line poem that was simple but meaningful it would be so highly revered but if a student wrote a two line poem it would just be considered a lazy attempt at something.
Isn't it funny how everything usually comes down to size. The longer an essay your write the better chance you have of getting an A. If you wrote an abstract essay for a book that was only three sentences, amazing sentences, it would probably receive an F. There is something in American society where size becomes Oh-so important.
The small is thought of as mundane. The simple is uncomplicated.
Who is really to say that this or that is the better thing though.
The answer is no one. No one except yourself. That is why nothing and no one in this world will ever be able to fully satisfy you except you.
So make a wish at 11:11. Hope that it comes true.

Manifesto Part 1
Check This Blog Out... My Friend's From School
So I started witting this Manifesto of sorts and this is the first little part of it. I don't know if I am continuing it but I thought that this part was decent.
Every single day that I wake up I have to go to the place that I absolutely despise. That being high school.
I walk amongst the filth and trash of the world. People think that I have a ‘unique’ view of American youth culture. That’s what I have been told to write about. They want me to write about sunny beaches and good times at football games, they want me to write about innocent girls and hard ass teachers, they want me to write about innocence.
Teenagers in America are absolute trash. They have no sense of emotional responsibility or friendship in general. It is a time of hatred, racism, sexism, abuse, among many other things.
Life isn’t like the fucking movies. Kids at my high school don’t smoke pot all day long and surf at the beach. Kids at my high school pop xanax and vicodin. Kids at my high school fuck in the bathrooms. Kids at my high school spend every single weekend of their life waking with a brief recollection of the night before.
The girls are whores and the guys are assholes. That is just the way that it works.
If you are a parent then YOU SHOULD WORRY because chances are that your kid is out there right now fucking their boyfriend or girlfriend, or doing a line of coke, or drinking from a paper bag in a park, or smoking cigarettes. It is an attempt to feel mature.
It is fashionable to be fucked up these days. It is fashionable to wake up after fucking a guy that’s in your Spanish class with your panties at your ankles and your bra on the other side of the room.
When you walk in the halls of school it is fashionable to bump into anyone in your way and then call them a fag. It is fashionable to have pictures on your FaceBook where you are taking beer bong rips. It is fashionable to turn your personal internet profile into a soft-core porn site.
Denial is the biggest tool that teenagers use.
Not your kid though right, not your little angel. Actually better than anything I am talking about every single child except yours right. It’s Johnny down the street and Suzy next door that fuck when you go to get groceries. Your kid couldn’t be that one. Your kid couldn’t possibly a pile of fucking filth.
Who are you to say that your kids are filth though? No one really because everyone is fucking trash.
Don’t listen to me though because I am just an angsty teen. I’m just a depressed de socialized picked on kid at school.
I would know nothing of the true happenings in the pit of hell you so warmly call the local high school.
But is it their entire fault? Is it all the fault of the little mignons?
No, more than anything it your fault. This time I am not just talking to you that parent that is reading this. This time I am talking to you the member of society that is reading this. You always want to look out a window and say wow look at all those people fucking everything up. For a change look in the mirror and realize that everyone else is looking out their windows at you saying the same thing.
We live in a society that trains kids to value all that is superficial.
Material goods are the most prized possessions. Going to the best college is all that is important in their life at the moment.
It’s alright if Johnny stays out late or doesn’t come home. He’s getting straight A’s so he’s on the right track. Somehow we have confused to very different things. We have this notion that a letter grade that you receive in school is a measure of not only your intellectual value but also your moral value. It is assumed that the higher GPA you possess the better a person you are.
Morality and values which have been placed where they are by society are contradictory to the way we evaluate people. Not only do our values contradict our way of evaluating people but also our values are shit to begin with.
Promiscuity is valued in a man where as innocence is valued in a woman. Money is a measure of success. Cars are a symbol of social status. Votes are based primarily on the basis of trying to keep as much money for yourself as possible. Kindness and compassion are products that come with a price. Gay people aren’t allowed to get married because someone else is uncomfortable with it. Tobacco is legal and marijuana is illegal.
Everything is the product of capitalism which is the product of greed which is a product of human nature. The only problem is that we hold everyone else to higher standards than we hold ourselves.
Rich people think that poor people should work for a living and not receive help through taxes. But the second they go bankrupt they want a government loan, food stamps, and everything else that they were once against. In other words they expect other people to live to a higher standard than they themselves do.
So when you find Johnny’s bong under his bed you hold it up to his face and scream at him. But what’s under your bed? In your nightstand? In your closet? Or even more prominently, what did you do when you were his age? Well that was the sixties times have changed right?
There is a notion that it is okay for me to do it but it isn’t okay for you to do it.
Birth control means that you are a slut. Teenage pregnancy means you are a slut. What does that say to your kid? Condoms are the way to go.
Suzy has to take AP French and get straight A’s so she can go to Dartmouth even though when you were seventeen you skipped class and gave Dave head in his car. Again though that was a different age though, right? Times have changed?
It was always okay when you did it but now it’s just not.
There is an excuse for everything that you do that you now disapprove of.
Parents are expecting their kids to be better than they themselves are. Society itself raises kids with the bar higher than any of them have ever even thought of reaching.
A C isn’t average anymore, it is for the stupid. A B is for the mediocre student, and an A is for the average or normal student.
Life has turned into a fire fueled by capitalism.
Kids don’t want to be mechanics, teachers, electricians, plumbers. They want to be doctors, lawyers, diplomats, and fortune five hundred CEOs.
Do what you love, as long as it makes you more money that you could possibly ever use.
We are a society of double standards. Of expectations that have exceed the strength of our own moral fiber. A pseudo utopia where we always expect someone else to do it for us. Kids are the wave of the future and they will create the cure for this and that. Yet we live in a place where education is a global disgrace. All our money goes to the death of our enemies rather than the promotion of our people and the bettering of lives with in our own world. But we hold ourselves to be charitable people. We hold ourselves to be god fearing. We hold ourselves to be equal. We hold ourselves to be everything that we aren’t.
Masturbating is a sin and therefore wrong. But when you did it, that was then, don’t make the same mistakes, right? Because it was alright for you to make all the mistakes but now kids should just listen to adults and take their advice.
Truth is that your advice as adults has no values to the youth. How do you expect to hold any water on what is wrong and right when your world is just as filled with trash and hypocrisy as ours is.
If you expect your kid to stop taking xanax then you should stop taking it your fucking self. Privilege has been given time release though.
We live in a society where age defines right and wrong just as much as anything else does. When you are twenty one then it is okay to get shitfaced and wake up face down on the floor of your apartment, but when your were twenty, no it wasn’t okay then. Thirteen year olds can’t watch rated R movies because of sex, violence, and language. If they are such bad things then maybe you should reconsider all the times you say fuck when you’re fighting with your husband or wife, maybe you should punch you wife in the face, maybe you shouldn’t fuck in the room next to your kids.
Hypocrisy is so abundant in the world in which we live that it has become a norm.
A cop can speed on the street, make rolling stops, run red lights, and change lanes without a blinker but you and me can’t. Judges can be caught embezzling money but when you are standing before them in a court of law you’re the bad person. Mayors can hire hookers while pushing bills to reduce prostitution in their city.
Do you not see that you are setting double standards, which you uphold only in favor of yourself, while living in denial about those closest to you so as to preserve your immediate sense of morality and the degree to which you influence others.
We are a collection of hypocrites that expect more from everyone else, including our kids, than we do ourselves. Values are not a person by person ideal, they are a standard which is meant to be upheld for society as a whole.
